November is Family Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Family Violence can happen to anyone. The Barrhead Bombers along with Barrhead and District FCSS Society are raising awareness to let those in these situations know they can reach out to learn what options for support are available to them. Alberta's Family Violence Info line is a toll-free phone, text, and chat service that's private and available throughout Alberta. For awareness of Family Domestic Violence Month, we will have purple ribbons available at our home games for a donation that will be used to purchase copies of a resource book called, "When Love Hurts".
