The Barrhead Bombers Hockey Club is getting ready to hit the road for a pair of games against the Hinton Timberwolves on Friday and Saturday at the Murray Rec. Center. This marks the first of 10 meetings with each team hosting a total of five games.

The Bombers are coming off two strong wins over the Cold Lake Hornets last weekend, winning 9-2 and 10-2. Nine Bombers registered points on Friday to overpower the Hornets. Oleksandr Davydenko (1G-4A-5Pts.), Serhii Poimanov (2G-2A-4Pts.), and Carter Zawortny (2G-2A-4Pts.) each had four points to lead all skaters.

Goaltenders Brandon Lakusta and Ian Sotlar both earned their first wins in a Bomber uniform.

Players to watch from the Timberwolves include leading scorer and former Bellingham Blazer, Jamahl Eakett (2G-3A-5Pts.), Brendan Auger (3G-1A-4Pts.), and Dorian Hall (0G-3A-3Pts.)
